Video Associate
Campus Progress, the youth division of the Center for American Progress, is seeking a Video Associate to lead the development of innovative media programming that engages diverse audiences with progressive ideas. The Video Associate will combine artistic and technical skills as the lead videographer for live events, interviews, news reports, creative video pieces, public service announcements, and other original content, and will train and assist staff to enhance overall video production. The Video Associate also will serve as lead editor for original video content, and will train and assist other staff to establish a consistent style and production quality for staff-produced video projects. Network Associate
Campus Progress has an immediate opening for a Network Associate. The Network Associate is responsible for recruiting and selecting participants for and providing support to Campus Progress’s network of students on more than 150 campuses (and growing) across the country; planning and implementing programming and training for students within the network; and acting as a liaison between Campus Progress network students and our issues and events staff. The Network Associate will strengthen Campus Progress’s outreach to students, student groups, campus faculty and staff, other young people, national and regional organizations, and others in order to foster connections and involvement in Campus Progress’s work.

Communications and Outreach Manager
The Center for American Progress has an immediate opening for a Communications and Outreach Manager for Campus Progress. Campus Progress is the Center’s fast-growing, dynamic effort to help young people make their voices heard and to empower new generations of progressive leaders. This staff member will be responsible for promoting Campus Progress’s work and strengthening our audience and community. Duties will include: promoting Campus Progress’s web magazine, events, issue campaigns, and other programs to organizations, prominent individuals, and the public; working with the Center for American Progress media team to attract press coverage; overseeing special multimedia projects; and supervising Campus Progress’s Network Coordinator.

Events Manager
The Events Manager will lead and coordinate all aspects of speaking programs—most to be held on college and university campuses or in Washington, D.C. —sponsored or cosponsored by Campus Progress. The Events Manager will supervise two Associate Managers and work to develop substantive speaking programs, recruit and maintain relationships with speakers, and work with campus and community groups, faculty, and student organizers to arrange speaking programs, including speaker travel and accommodations, logistics, and publicity.
